Organizational Development

I’m certified in Organization Development by the University of Minnesota. But I also draw on a lifetime of experience (in a variety of roles and positions) in schools, nonprofits, and other organizations—many of them collaboratively led. I’ve also worked with some profound and practical mentors along the way.

I augment my experience with a deep understanding of complex systems. So many of the accepted practices that we rely on (e.g., with regard to planning, accountability, job descriptions) are limited by linear thinking. Organizations that function as non-linear “Complex Adaptive Systems” are far more likely to flourish in today’s rapidly changing world.
